Improve your core stability and alleviate low back pain: Bird Dog Exercise

While not a Pilates exercise, it is commonly used in the Pilates world and adapted from Physical Therapy.

The bird dog exercise uses the whole body to balance and strengthen your core, hips, and back muscles.

In this video, I teach you the best set up and technique for you to do bird dog well in any class or gym setting.


As always, move at your own pace. If you feel pinching or pain, then don’t do it. If your body feels good moving this way, I encourage you to do this everyday.
