How do you move through low back pain?
Do you know when it feels like all of your body parts are falling off the wagon? Your neck and shoulders are in constant tension. Your low back won’t quit complaining. And your legs almost feel weak.
Your pelvis may be out of balance. This can lead to uneven gait, SI joint dysfunction, sciatic nerve irritation, low back pain, hip discomfort and even neck and shoulder tension.
There are many ways to tackle these issues, like taking a month-long vacation; regular massages; lots of wine. But you may not have time to do that today.
What you can do is this 20 minute class, where you release tissue, balance your pelvis and sacrum and gently strengthen your core to build back your stability. In turn, your nervous system can take a breather and your pain can subside.
Props you may want to invest in (and alternatives if you don’t):
Foam Roller (choose soft or medium density according to your tissues)
Yoga Tune Up Balls, Pinky Balls, or Rad Balls (or similar)
Yoga Block or thick book
Getting out of pain is not a linear process, but you don’t have to wait until your next vacation to start. And if you’re not in pain, this class will still leave you released and centered.

Are these the only things to do for back pain? NO. Is this a cure all for your back pain? NO. Is this all you have to do? NO.
But it’s a place to begin. Getting out of pain is not linear. You must take time to breathe and rest. And until you begin to feel better, you’ll probably move slower and with smaller ranges of motion in any exercise you do. Either way, I’m here to help.
